Tuesday, by the calendar, was my first day back. πππ
I work 3rd shift. Monday night I went to work with my gym bag ready to sweat after 5 am.
5 am Tuesday morning came and I went right to the in house gym at my work and got right to it.
I chose a back and bicep combo.
Seated row 60 lbs for 4 sets of 10 reps ….. Lat Pulldown 60 lbs for 4 sets of 8 reps ….. Bent over row 25lb plate each side for 4 sets of 10 reps …… Bicep curls 15lb dumbbell for 3 sets of 8 reps …. And Assisted pull ups on #18 plate for 4 reps and #16plate for 2 reps.
The assisted pull up bummed me out super hard. Before my injury, I was pulling on plate #17 for 15 reps. I was doing full pull ups. With this set back, I’m going to do pull ups every gym session.
I also incorporated the treadmill into my workout. My goal was for my steps…and time. I am tired of bitching out of my workouts. If ANYONE can do it, I can as well. First day back and I went over my goal of 40 minutes, by 5 minutes. I did 45minutes that produced 4,253 steps. This may be low, but after all my injuries, recovery, and time off, I was thrilled.
I ended Tuesday hungry. We’ll review my nutrition another day.
I ended with 10046 steps though! πClosest to 10,000 I’ve been in over a month and it went over. I’m elated πππππ
My plan for when I get out of my Tuesday shift on Wednesday morning is chest and triceps. Let’s not forget the treadmill, of course.
See you guys soon. β
